There are roads in Norfolk and Suffolk where a traveller may find that the road is shared. By marsh, churchyard and sea wall, a great black hound has been seen, sometimes near, sometimes no more than a shape keeping pace in the dusk. Here are the accounts of those meetings.

The hound that kept the motorbike
After midnight on the long road out of Woodbridge, Keith Flory found a black hound running behind his motorbike. Speed did not at first leave it behind.
